Amplify PGDM students Saurabh and Niki, under guidance from Professors Dilip Thosar and Prashant Hinduja of Bharati Vidyapeeth Amplify Department of Information Technology & Management (BVU-DITM), emerged as the winners of a Quiz contest in the “On-Campus” annual event of Project Management Institute (PMI) Pune Deccan Chapter.
“On-Campus 2009”, held on 11 January at the Kothrud campus of BVU, was a major milestone for PMI in its Academic Alliance initiative.
Talking on this occasion, Mr. Girish Kelkar, President PMI-PDC said: “We are happy to see the tremendous and excellent co-operation we are getting from academic institutions, in our mission of furthering the cause of best practices in Project Management. We look forward to institutions like Amplify to offer degree courses and faculty upgradation workshops on Project Management.”
Professor Anil Gupte of BVU Amplify mentioned that Amplify was already working on launching of a PGDM (PM) course at the BVU in summer 2009. Dr. Capt. Chitale, Dean of PUMBA, also declared that the University of Pune is also considering launching a similar course in 2010.
